Several significant changes to Ministry of Education guidelines regarding the operation of Ontario Secondary Schools have been made over the last few years. The most recent changes are captured in the newly published Growing Success: Assessment, Evaluation and Reporting, 2010 document. Many of these changes apply to private schools.
PDS has updated it Policy/Procedures Manual to reflect these changes. The policies in the Manual were developed by the Ministry of Education and adapted for use in private schools. The procedures include samples and templates that schools can adapt to their situation. In addition, we have included information that will be of interest and use to private schools as well as sources for the information. Each of the procedures in the manual is referenced to the relevant Ministry policy, Policy/Program Memorandum, or other source of information.
We recognize that creating and updating an extensive Policy/Procedures Manual requires, in addition to expertise, many hours of work. Since time is often the most valuable commodity of a busy principal, PDS has worked to develop a comprehensive Policy/Procedures Manual, compatible for private schools in Ontario.
Our fee is $2,000 (plus 13% HST). The purchaser of the Policy/Procedures Manual will be required to sign a copyright and usage agreement prior to receipt.
