Webinar 3: Planning templates and assessment tools for implementation of Growing Success
Speaker: Jim Sebastian
Wednesday, May 18 – 7:00PM – 8:00PM EST

The focus of Growing Success is on the importance of formative assessment and the critical role that feedback plays in student success. Feedback is most effective when students clearly understand what they are to learn and how they are assessed. Teachers will be required to develop learning goals and success criteria for their lessons. This session will focus on practical applications and strategies and will introduce a lesson plan template that will include learning goals and success criteria and a unit plan template to support accountability. We will also look at tools and strategies that are useful for assessing ongoing learning and for evaluating student achievement.
