This workshop is an overview of the document, Growing Success: Assessment, Evaluation, and Reporting in Ontario Schools, Grades 1-12, 2010. We will look at the sections of the document that private schools are required to implement and examine the policy implications for private schools. The workshop will ensure that participants have a good understanding of new assessment terminology (i.e. assessment for learning, assessment as learning, assessment of learning) and of new grading requirements (i.e. triangulation: products, observations, conversations). There will be an opportunity for questions and answers.
